Joseph Behar

Joseph was admitted to the Supreme Court of South Australia in 2012 following his completion of a Bachelor of Laws and Legal Practice degree at Flinders University.  He joined Tolis & Co Lawyers as a Solicitor in 2018, having spent the previous three and a half years at another law firm.

During his time in practice, Joseph has acquired extensive experience in various legal areas, including Wills and Estates, Commercial Law, Criminal Law and Personal Injury Law.  He has a particular interest in litigation and advocacy, and frequently appears in the South Australian minor and superior Courts and Tribunals. He has also conducted various Trials, both as Counsel and instructing Solicitor, and has achieved successful outcomes for his clients on many occasions.

Joseph is hard working, dedicated, outcome driven, and has a high level of attention to detail. He takes a practical approach to resolving legal disputes for his clients, and understands the importance of deconstructing complex, and often intertwining, legal concepts into plain language and advice.

Outside of the law, Joseph’s interests include recreational cycling, playing the guitar and historic motor vehicles.
