Aris Tolis

Aris completed his Law Degree at Flinders University in 1995 and was admitted to the Supreme Court of South Australia and the High Court of Australia in 1996. He established Tolis & Co in 1999 after having worked in some of Adelaide’s leading Civil and Criminal Litigation firms. He has served on the Law Society of South Australia’s Costs and Civil Litigation Committees and in 2012, was invited as a major stakeholder in motor vehicle accident compensation in South Australia, to serve on the Committee considering and addressing the Government on the major legislative changes to the motor vehicle accident compensation scheme in South Australia. Aris is also fluent in the Greek language and well versed and experienced in Greek property transactions, travelling to Greece yearly for his Greek Australian clients who are navigating those complexities.

Aris is dedicated to maximising his client’s entitlements to compensation whilst minimising their costs and the stress and anxiety associated with litigation. He is one of the most experienced legal practitioners in the injury compensation litigation jurisdiction in South Australia and highly respected by his clients and peers. He is also the proud father of four children, two of which who are now following in the footsteps of their father and mother and pursuing a career in the law. In his (very little) spare time, he enjoys travelling, spending time with his family and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.
