Nadia Behar

Nadia was admitted to the Supreme Court of South Australia in February 2014 and joined Tolis & Co Lawyers as a Graduate Solicitor in August that same year.  Since that time, Nadia has worked predominately in the area of Family Law, and is now a partner practising exclusively in that area.

During her practise, Nadia has been exposed to a diverse range of matters of both a simple and complex nature, and has participated in numerous conferences, Mediations, and Court events. This exposure has assisted Nadia to gain extensive knowledge and experience in assisting clients to negotiate, and resolve, litigious parenting matters, and highly technical property settlement disputes involving complex corporate structures and trusts.

Prior to joining Tolis & Co, Nadia graduated from a double degree at Flinders University, where she achieved an Honours Degree of Bachelor of Laws and Legal Practice, and a Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Psychology).  In the latter years of her study, Nadia became involved with various organisations that assist members of the community to access the justice system. She was an active volunteer with the Flinders Legal Advice Clinic, which operated both on campus and via the Christies Beach Magistrates Court, and was also a volunteer with the JusticeNet SA Self-Representation Service at the Supreme Court of South Australia for many months.

Nadia is sensible, driven and has a high level of attention to detail. She prides herself on giving pragmatic and holistic legal advice to her clients, and approaches every matter with care, sensitivity, and a willingness to work hard. Nadia is skilled to work closely with clients to ensure that they are able to comfortably achieve appropriate outcomes in a timely and cost-effective manner.
