Associate
Ruby was admitted to practise in the Supreme Court of South Australia in 2024 and the High Court of Australia in 2025, after completing a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Psychological Science (Psychology) at the University of Adelaide. Since 2022, Ruby has worked solely in the area of Family Law.
Prior to joining Tolis & Co in August 2025, Ruby was employed as the Deputy Associate to her Honour Judge Parker (as her Honour then was) of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Division 2). During her time at the Court, Ruby was exposed to a range of both simple and complex parenting and property matters. Ruby’s experience as a Judge’s Associate has provided her with a thorough understanding of the judicial system and the family law process.
Ruby understands that family law matters are often extremely difficult and emotionally charged times, and she brings a considered, practical and empathetic approach to her clients.
